I look at our body like a machine. What you put in is what you get out.

Bodybuilding in itself is a very fulfilling project.

You have to constantly force yourself to grow out of your comfort

zone. That's where the growth occurs and most people aren't willing to go there.

I lived in this really cool community. It was a Harakrishna temple, I was raised vegetarian.

I thought I don't believe in killing other living beings and consuming them for my own personal pleasure.

Growing up, I had to have some kind of financial stability. I would have to work 9, 10 hours a day.

I just didn't feel complete. Fitness and bodybuilding really fill that void for me.

The guys on stage at Mr. Olympia that you might compete with one day.

It's a high probability that some of them will be doing steroids.

Do you do steroids?

Now, I promote longevity.

I've beaten plenty of guys who are taking them

and eat meat as well.

So that's like a double whammy.

So that makes me more proud of it.

Time on the clock is ticking.

And even if people don't go fully plan-based,

even they do a reduction in protein, it's not only going to make them healthier,

but it's also going to have a huge impact on the amount of suffering in the world.

It's our duty to kind of leave this place in a better place than what it was when we arrived.
