But that is not exactly what's going on.

The economy is terrible in Nepal.

There is little opportunity for most

young people while the children of the wealthy lead somewhat luxurious lifestyles. And social media

to the Nepalese is simply the means of delivery for almost all information. The protest is a bit

odd in that what Nepal's government is doing with social media, forcing websites to register

with the government, is exactly what other governments seen as even more progressive than
