The story comes from the CBS Radio Mystery Theater this week. A series of 1,399 episodes produced between 1974 and 1982.

Series ran for seven days a week for the first six years after that five days a week lots to enjoy.

Our story this time is based on one from Elginon Blackwood. It's titled Night of the Howling Dog, this one aired August 28, 1975.

It's been said that you can always recognize the werewolf simply by shaking hands. If the handshaker has hair on the inside of his palms,

QED, a werewolf. Of course this is an old wise tale. As for me, I'm perfectly willing to accept the fact that the whole idea of werewolves was absurdly exaggerated by the superstitious during the Middle Ages.

However, I would like some explanation of the concept everyone recognizes today of the subconscious, something inside a person which can take over and utterly control a person's mind and actions, particularly under great stress.
