Yeah, your work is great. And if I were to write a book on this subject, which for the past two years has been the number one thing I've been obsessing over, I would have written the book that you wrote. You know, Scanned is fantastic. I highly recommend people get it. And I'm obsessed with this because for me, it like if people remember the video game doom the bfg the big effing gun or you know the idea of a doomsday device for me

this is it the vaccine passport which is a social credit system this is like the doomsday device

which if it installed is like checkmate for humanity. And so,

you know, where to begin this story? Could you start to tell us about your book and your

researching to this? Okay. I mean, I started writing this book. Ironically, just after catching

COVID in September last year, I wrote it in about three and a half months

because we had an incredibly kind of tight deadline because of kind of like of the urgency of the

moment, the publisher Chelsea Green, essentially they wanted this book to go out

because um they felt that this was kind of like a a vital mission almost it was like a mission for them

and and time was time was of the essence and by the time I'd written the first draft, probably about 20% of what I'd written was no longer relevant because everything was changing so fast.

Governments were piling on new restrictions, so they were changing, they were tweaking them.

When I started writing the book, it was during the Delta

wave, and by the time I finished it, Omicron was spreading all over the world. So it was,

it was a fascinating experience, my first book and an exceptionally stressful experience. And I'm just about recovered from that.

And yes, it's, it was a work that I hadn't really expected to do. I mean, I started writing

articles about the vaccine passports for the US block.

I write for naked capitalism going back to February when the Green Pass was first launched in Israel,

which was the first so-called liberal democracy to adopt a vaccine passport.

And then I began kind of like seeing certain things about it that really disturbed me.
