Welcome in to the C.HGO Blackhawks Trade Deadline Spectacular.

I'm Jay Zawaski with Greg Boyson and Mario Tirbossey. We are in the

Xfinity loft as always and Chloe is here running the show as well. Thanks everybody for being with us

a somewhat busy day in the NHL. Nothing too too crazy yet, but we're going to be on as the deadline

passes and on for an hour after for reaction.

We're also going to go to the UC tonight for the game. Kyle Davidson will speak.

So we'll post that on our YouTube. Lots to come on what should be a very busy day in the

NHL. But we should start right away. Nick Folino has been traded to the Minnesota Wild for

future considerations, gets to go

wrap up this season and potentially his career with his brother Marcus, which is

cool to see.

Yeah, I think this was something that we talked about yesterday after Nick talked in the

locker room.

It really kind of felt like a guy closing the book on his time in Chicago and didn't know if it would be, you know, last night or, you know, if it would happen today.

But I'll say get into the rink, walked in and looked down the hall and outside the

outside the locker room was Nick in his you know bass layer gear

but he was on the phone and he was you know talking and laughing a bit

so I thought that was interesting and then yeah about maybe almost an hour later, he was officially traded to the wild.

And, you know, it's sad to see him go.

I know we've got to know him as a group through him being on the show with us.

And we talked to him after practice yesterday and just kind of said, hey, like, if something does happen, thanks for everything and getting to know him and everything like that. So it is sad to see him go.

But it is a good move by Kyle Davidson and the Black Hawks to give him that opportunity to try.
