0:47.5	We're doing something trade-centric here on the Bill Barnwell Show, and we are celebrating today on the Bill Barnwell Show, because as you may have known, if you've read me for a while, there's nothing I love more than a fake trade.
0:55.0	Unfortunately, my fake trades don't always pan out into reality, but this week is an exception. Last week in my mock trade column for ESPN.com, I suggested that the Chiefs should trade a fifth round pick for DeAndre Hopkins.
1:05.0	And wouldn't you know guys today, the Chiefs, despite what Patrick Mahomes said, despite him saying, we don't need another receiver.
1:12.9	The chiefs did trade.
1:17.7	A fifth or out pick could be a fourth depending on if DeGondre Hopkins hit certain conditions,
1:23.5	going to the Tennessee Titans for our friend D'Andre Hopkins.
1:34.3	So an exciting trade, I think one that makes sense for the reasons I laid out, adding a physical receiver, a guy who can win against press coverage, which the Chiefs do not have right now. They've had Patrick Rojones throw multiple interceptions into tight windows, or I guess the first one, the juju interception, I'm thinking of, was a tight window where it bounced off his hands near the goal line. And then the Xavier Worthy interception last week was not
1:48.4	really a tight window throw because Xavier Worthy had fallen down halfway through the route
1:52.8	because of some physical contact from the 49ers. This is a team that needs someone who can
1:57.1	win in those physical situations on the outside besides Travis Kelsey. And so I think this is a great fit. It's a one-year rental. Chiefs obviously moving forward
2:04.8	next year with Rashi Rice and Xavier Worthy as they're starting whiteouts. Maybe they'll
2:09.4	let somebody else, wouldn't be shocked, but they're not in a position to add someone like
2:14.2	a Devante Adams where it is probably going to be for multiple seasons.
