The Lakers announced everything again this week. We saw Pat Beverly at the introductory press conference.

He's got some quotes for it, man. That guy's like, man, this is what happens if you go in first take and say crazy shit. This is awesome.

And he was saying like, hey, they weren't in the playoffs last year. I was.

And we're all kind of waiting on the Westbrook thing.

I don't know if there's one basketball mine that actually knows what they're looking at that thinks that Westbrook coming back is better for this team.

But that's the message that the franchise is selling to us and what all the players are selling to us.

And that's what they're supposed to do. So I can chuckle about the defensive prowess of Westbrook and who he could be.

He could be a defensive player of the year, which I think we've pulling the said during summer league.

And yeah, I laugh and go whatever, but this is kind of what they're supposed to do.

What are they? They can't tell us the truth here.

So I can't give them a hard time for not doing because if they were to say we'd love to get this guy out of here, but we don't want to attach to first.

He doesn't fit in. It's really stubborn basketball like all the things we've already talked about a million different times.

So I'm not going to give him a hard time about not being truthful and painting the best version of this story.
