David Letterman was a guest on the Bill Simmons podcast,

an alert listener alerted me to that. So I listened to that. Because you love David Letterman. Well, I love NBC David Letterman. Oh, okay. I didn't like CBS, David Letterman. What about this next guest? Yeah, I watch that sometimes. Yeah, it's pretty good. But I like any old-timer looking back on TV and radio and things like that. So he was a good guest. Bill Simmons asked him what if he watches TV anymore? He says he only watches the warm-up show? No, it is because they don't put it on CBS. He said the only thing he watches on actual television is PTI. Oh, okay. Well, that's going to make those guys feel pretty good. And Wilbon, yeah. He says the only show. PTI's been going for so long. Going forever. Yeah. And he said that if there's a guest host, and I used to find this too when I used to watch that, there's a guest host, shut it right off. it's different if If one of the two guys isn't there, I'm out. Yeah, it's different for sure. I did like when I solo would fill in. I thought he was pretty good on it. But I do agree that, you know, that chemistry is not there. It's a little bit different, you know. I certainly get that on social media when one of the guys aren't in. Oh, you're here.

You're here. Shutting it right off. Yes. So I understand how that goes. Now, the Chiefs are going to host the Broncos week one Monday night football. There is a chance. There is no Patrick Mahomes. There is a chance. There is no Bo Nix. Right. So what the hell are they doing scheduling this game for week one on Monday night football?

That doesn't make any sense whatsoever. I couldn't tell you. That should be a one o'clock game. And I think it's likely Mahomes doesn't play. And I think it's likely that Knicks doesn't play. Great question. Very strange. Yeah, very strange. So now you're going to get Justin Fields versus Jarrett Stidham Monday night football.

And Stidham, weather wasn't great, but he was awful in that playoff game.

And Justin Fields, things didn't go so great for him here, as we know with the Jets.
