looking good, hard night, got the hard knocks hangover, or you're done with this yet?

You mean, am I groggy from having sat through that?

That was, uh, that was tough to

make it through that. As it has been, I guess this is good news for you, the Cowboys fan, Sal,

that things are nice and boring because the opposite is if there's great drama, that probably

doesn't equal great success come September. But Sal, the big news is, I say it every time we kibbits.

It's now football season. It's not almost here. It's here now. We're into it, Sal. Week

zero is upon us. I mean, it's a matter of minutes away, really, when you think about it.

It is weird with the players. How excited can they be? Like, oh, we were the headliners, Illinois,

Nebraska, in week zero. We're the king of the zeros, right? You can only get so excited for it.

But I am a little pump. I know you have a problem with the conference game starting early,

but really, honestly. You would tune in for two minutes for the weekend if it weren't for this game, right?

Well, this is, but it proves my point. Yes, I hear you. I don't love conference matchups

week one. We don't need games of great import, although I don't think Illinois and Nebraska

properly counts as a game of great import except to the two programs.

Yeah, it's a game, like I say, if it were played on October 20th, who gives a crap, you

would look past it. But, you know, we've been out in the desert for so long without football.
