Hey everybody, it's Thursday, July 20th, 2023. Welcome to the NFL Fantasy football podcast.

But we're preparing to report to training camp. It's me, your man, M.G. Mark, his

grand joy by Michael F. Floria. We are remote today, not not in studio as we normally are.

We're sort of recording on a different day. We just finished the NFL media content summit.

We got to hang out with all the other NFL media on air types and talk about a lot of things.

Basically, guys, don't get excited. It's an off-site meeting. It was a lot of nuts and bolts,

a lot of sausage making necessary for the company. Not exciting to talk about.

But Floria, we got to chat with some interesting people. That's a good thing, right?

Yeah, it's always fun just getting to, especially like for me, there's a lot of people that I

was big fans of before I worked here and getting to meet them and just interact with them and

stuff. It's always a humbling experience for me. But that paired with having my sister-in-law

and her husband in town and running them all over the last few days, I was pretty happy that

the show was remote today. I'm sure. Yeah, you know, normally we do it on Wednesdays. It is Thursday.

We're doing a little bit differently this week. I had a chance. I was excited, like you said,

to talk to a lot of people that I've seen either, you know, players as coaches on TV,

what have you, get to talk to them. I did talk to David Shaw, who does a lot of, you know,

kind of draft analysis for us, was the head coach, head football coach at Stanford for a long time.

I told him that I was glad he works here because it means he couldn't beat up on USC anymore,

to which his response was the two best things every season were to beat USC and beat Notre Dame.

I was like, yeah, I guess that makes sense. I can't be mad about that.

His best days, your worst day. Pretty much. Yeah, exactly. But it was a lot of fun to connect

with people otherwise. Anyway, we got stuff football wise to talk about because training camp is
