You've heard a lot about the top three wide receivers in the upcoming NFL draft.

That would be Jamar Chase, Devante Smith, and Jalen Waddle in some order.

I am joined by Emery Hunt, who's been awesome awesome breaking down quarterbacks and running back so far.

And now we get to talk about wide receivers today and tomorrow. Follow us and stream us on Spotify.

Emery, we've heard a lot of buzz about this wide receiver class for a long time. In your mind,

how good is this class overall? It's very good. And I think it's deep across the board.

You talk about split-ins, flankers, slot receivers,

bigger inside receivers. Any position you want to fill, I think you can get the job done in this draft class. Right. And the way you rank them, you rank them by slot, flanker, and split-end. So overall, though, if you were giving overall grades, are those three guys, Devante Smith, Jamar Chase and, and Jalen Waddle, are they your top three? Yeah, they were my top three. They grade out very well.

All three guys, to me, have just tremendous skill set. And I think they should even bypass that

three-year window that we like to give wide receivers when they make the jump to the NFL.

They could be good right away. Who's the best? I would say DeVantz-Smith. He has my highest grade. I was more impressed with how well he ran routes this year. I thought that's where he grew significantly within his game. He has a lot of speed, reminds me a lot of Marvin Harrison because of how he's built and how he's able to run routes. And because he's been so dynamic, I think, man, this guy can play on the outside as a split and as an ex-receiver as a bona fide number one option. Okay. I will get back to these guys. But Henry Ruggs, you told me off air, was your number one, your highest graded wide receiver last year. Where would he rank

in this year's class? He'll be right there with Jalen Wado and Jammar Chase. I had Ruggs, my number

one split, and he had an 88.5 point grade. And he was just so good. He reminded me a lot of Joy

Galloway with how fluid fast he was and explosive he was.

And I think when you look at the receiving court that we're talking about this year,

the three guys, man, it's still a lot of speed, a lot of explosiveness.

So a lot just carries over into, you know, to this season as far as the draft prospects are

concerned.

So Ruggs would fit in right there with Waddle and Chase.
