I don't want to waste any time here either.

Round one of the NFL draft is in the books. We had 10 skill position players selected so far. I want to give you my quick thoughts on them during this episode.

0:29.4

I also wrote a takeaways and projections piece for all the fantasy relevant guys in round one.

You can find that over at the score or you could just follow the links on my X or my blue sky accounts. You can find me at Justin Boone on both of those. But again, lots to go over here in terms of the players that are already drafted and the best players who are left of the board heading into round two. So I'm going to touch on that at the end of the show. But let's begin with the first overall pick. No here cam ward he goes to the titans this was

0:56.5

my qb one during the whole pre-draft process i thought he stood out head and shoulders above the rest of

1:02.0

the quarterbacks in this class and he goes to a team that is in desperate need of good quarterback play i

1:28.6

He has a playmaker under center.

1:31.1

Unfortunately, the Titan supporting cast still leaves a lot to be desired there.

1:35.7

So I think we have to keep our year one expectations and check for Ward.

1:39.1

But he does have the talent to be a future low-end fantasy quarterback one if everything comes together

1:45.0

and if Callahan can kind of, you know, mesh with him really well and get him comfortable in the

1:49.5

pros. And we'll see what happens with the Titans on day two here. They could potentially come out

1:53.6

and draft some skill position guys and kind of boost that group around him. So we'll be keeping

1:58.3

an eye on that. As for my projection for him for 2025

2:01.8

17 starts 3,529 passing yards 20 touchdowns 13 interceptions a hundred and

2:09.4

ninety seven rushing yards and one rushing touchdown for me that makes him the redraft
