rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, was shot on Saturday.

Everyone, of course, very happy to hear that Pearsall was released from the hospital on Sunday.

Welcome to the Athletic Football Show. I'm Robert May's last division preview for you guys today.

It is the NFC West. We're waiting on this until we got a Brandon Iuke resolution. It was a very good call by

Michael Bauer, our producer. I appreciate him making me wait on a division that you want to talk about.

It's one of the best divisions in the league. There's so much stuff to chew on, but we held off.

I'm glad we held off. Two little bits of housekeeping before we actually get started. First of all,

Me, Derek Klesson, Mike Sando, come on your guys' way from six to seven before the game starts.

We'll do a little preview talk, little quarterback tears talk, and then we'll also be back at halftime. Just chat about what was happening. And then we're going to do our live recap that is going to be part of the preview podcast from the bar. So if you guys are going to be around, highly encourage you guys to come. We would love to see. We'd love to say hi. One other thing, as we get to our regular season scheduling, the show this year, only three podcasts a week. Randy obviously left the athletic, so we're not going to have football GM anymore. And prospects to pros, we're going to be doing stuff with Dane throughout the year, but just not weekly. So the show is going to be Mondays, which are Sunday night recaps, Wednesdays, which is me and just friends with the show and guests and the biggest stories in the league. And then Fridays with Derek again doing our preview show. So just wanted

to get that on your guys' radar now as we get toward the season. Obviously, this week's a little

bit wonky because the holidays, so we're going to be Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday. But
