New World Report, my colleagues, Joseph Umar, Executive Director of Secure Free Society,

and Ernesto Arauzo, former Foreign Minister of the Republic of Brazil, now back in North

America with Joseph and myself after a trip to South America to meet with his colleagues

and to listen to conversation in Lima, Peru, a troubled state but a beautiful state.

We start, however, with Venezuela, which is a very troubled state, and the news from

Caracas, Reuters, Venezuela and authorities have taken nine officials from state-owned

metals conglomerate, Corporation Venezuela, Guiana, CVG, including from steel-maker subsidiary

Cedor, Indicustity during corruption investigations, according to the Attorney General.

This follows similar corruption alleged at the state oil company in these last days, where

the result was the stepping aside of Tricalla Sami, a very prominent man who is long understood

to have very close connections with Iran.

Because if I start with you, because you previewed this like a good novelist, you wrote

foreshadowing in the first chapter last week when we came across Tricalla Sami stepping

aside.

As I recall your remarks, Alassamie steps aside only to make things look acceptable to the

international community.

He still is a very powerful man, former Vice President now, oil minister.

But these new corruption indictments, are they more of the same cleaning up the cabinet

in order to be reintroduced to the international community as Maduro, the survivor, Maduro,

the man is going to fix Venezuela after seven million people have fled.
