Security Society and Ernesto Arrujal former foreign minister of the Republic of Brazil just

back from the very successful inauguration of Javier Malay and Buenos Aires. Now we go

to Caracas in Georgetown, two capitals that don't have anything in common except for a border area

that is much in dispute in Caracas, not in dispute in Georgetown. And we come to a meeting of minds to see if there is a resolution for

a dispute that perhaps has been going on since the late 19th century. The headline out of London suggests that there's more

to this than just Caracas and Georgetown. A junior British foreign minister said

Guyana's territorial integrity should be respected as he visited the Commonwealth country after neighboring Venezuela renewed its claim to the oil rich as the Kibo region.

Guiana and Venezuela last week, meeting, agreed to avoid any use of force and not to escalate

tensions in their long-running dispute.

I am in Guyana, said Britain's minister for the Americas, David Rutley, to offer the UK's unequivocal

backing to our Guyanese friends.
