Urge former Foreign Minister of the Republic of Brazil. The report is that a

Russian flotilla is headed to the Caribbean. The report says that the flotilla will make a port call in

Havana, Cuba. The Cuban-Russian relationship dates back, of course, to the middle of the 20th century and was profoundly

trouble during the Cold War. Now we're post-Cold War or are we? The

Fotilla is said to be bearing good wishes towards the troubled Cuban regime.

There's also talk of it making not port calls but visits along the Venezuela coast.

Joseph for some time you very carefully explicated the

tangle, the witches brew of villains and geopolitical bad actors and adversaries in and around Caracas and

Havana. The Russian flotilla seems kind of old fashion in comparison. What is its mission? What is it

hoping to demonstrate? And at some point does this connect to the threats to

Giana by Maduro? I think John that's exactly it. I think this has a lot to do with Guyana.

In fact, the first time I ever heard about these Russian ships potentially coming to the Caribbean

was way before it was reported by the news. I actually heard this more than a month ago and it was related to things that were happening in the Jana and its border to Venezuela.

So let me first begin to kind of debunk some of the minutes of talking points that

are being floating around since last few years announced that these Russian evil vessels

are coming to Cuba.
