Amlow is the popular, very powerful, all power in the hands of the executive administration

president.

But he's limited to one term, his intention to extend his sovereignty, did not work in the midterms, and he's now blessed the candidacy of the former mayor of Mexico City,

Ms. Shinebaum.

And going forward, he has endorsed her repeatedly

and said very positive things about her experiences.

However, I note though she's well ahead in the polls of the opposition, Ms. Shinebaum is an intellectual.

She's trained as a chemical engineer.

She comes from a family of professors.

Her brother is a physicist.

This is not the populist that Amlo presents on his morning

television show. How do you measure how these two will work together if Amlow is intending to stay around as the grandfather of

Marina, the winning party.

Does this sound like Ms. Steinbaum can deal with the cartels, the border, the troubles in the economy because

it's centered on the administration, and the reluctance to upgrade and privatize the energy industry. Can she deal with all of that? What is your measure?
