Arauzha, former Foreign Minister of the Republic of Brazil.

Ernesto Lula de Silva has been on a world-scale tour to East Asia, to Beijing, to speak to and

enjoy the attention of Xi Jinping, the General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, and

we were told to unite ties to reestablish ties between Brazil and China.

And then to the European continent, Portugal, Spain, to speak of peace, accommodation in

Ukraine, and offering himself as an arbitrator between the warring powers.

And now back to Brazil, very actively, to propose domestic matters.

One would be a new minimum wage, another would be, well, the Amazon, the indigenous people,

the Amazon.

What is your measure of his conduct so far?

He's getting very good headlines in Europe and in Asia.

What is his intention to put all these virtuous actions together?

Well, John, he's trying to reestablish Brazil as a member of the totalitarian alliance

headed by China and Russia.

I think that's the main objective, and that's the core of his foreign policy.

Well, he talked about reestablishing ties with China.

I mean, they were never cut.

I mean, we had a healthy, great relationship with China during President Bolsonaro's term.

Now the question of going beyond trade and basically transporting to Brazil China's

tutorial model.
