Guatemala, Spanish Prime Minister condemns threat to democracy in Guatemala.

A rich story.

Spanish Prime Minister condemned the actions of Guatemalan prosecutors as, quote, threat to democracy after they

questioned the election victory of the country's president-elect, Bernardo Aravalo.

The quote, I want to show my most absolute rejection of the actions of the Public Ministry of

Guatemala that threatened democracy and the will of the citizens expressed at the polls.

Democracy must prevail, said Pedro Sanchez. at the But as I understand it, Arvelo, the son of a previous president, won the election, and there's a long transition, very long transition, all the way to March.

And in the meantime, the party that nominated him was ruled by the authorities to be illegitimate because of falsification proof, forgery.

There were many reasons given yeah and therefore the party was disavowed

but in some fashion that turned into disavowing aravalo the Spanish prime minister is

elevating this story to a threat to democracy.
