I'm John Dachshu with Joseph Oomar, the Executive Director of Scarefree Society. The news

is a spy captured, condemned, decades in federal prison and now, Anamo Tez, an American citizen

convicted of spying for Cuba has been released from US federal prison in Fort Worth, Texas.

Cuba recruited Montez. This is a report from CNN. Cuba recruited Montez for spying in the

1980s. And Montez was employed by the Pentagon's Defense Intelligence Agency as an analyst

from 85 to 2001. She was eventually promoted to the DAI's top Cuba analyst. Joseph, this

was a story that rocked Washington at the time of the detention and trial. Montez now

is out. What does this mean about Cuba's conduct with recruiting and maintaining Montez as

an agent all those years, what, almost two decades? And what does it mean about other agents

for Cuba that may still be involved at some point in the US government? We all know

Joseph. There's never just one mouse. Yes, it's true. No, John, this is an under reported

story because Anna Belén Montez is right up there with all the Rick Ames from the CIA,

Robert Hanson from the FBI, well known, espionage cases because of what she did. And you

mentioned 2001, this is interesting anecdote to the story because the FBI who was doing

the counterintelligence work on investigation on her, the only reason she was arrested, because

they were trying to find those other mice, those other moles that were around her or working
