2001 what are your memories good evening to you Joseph?

Good evening, John. I was actually at a naval station naval annex on joint joint bowling air force base near the defense intelligence agency

I was in a military unit Marine Corps unit and I remember very clearly what happened that morning

I just arrived I arrived a little bit earlier. I think it was around 730 I arrived and shortly thereafter

I think it was around 830 give it a take

New starter surfacing we didn't really have social media back fan at least not the way we have now

So really the news was coming in through emails and those coming in through

messaging and and call phone calls and then the news obviously covered this pretty pretty quickly

And then my biggest recollection of that day beyond, you know, all the the chatter was in Washington DC

They closed the bridges so for those that aren't from Washington DC

We're you know surrounded by a river the Potomac and most people a lot of people live in Maryland in Virginia
