We begin with Head headlines from Brazil.

Bolsonaro says he does not fear being put on trial.

What? Bolsonaro, the former president, has been disenfranchised already from running in the next election cycle.

However, Reuters reporting from Rio, Brazil's former president Bolsonaro said he does not fear being put on a trial one day after a police investigation revealed the far right politician tried to co-opt the country's military chiefs in a coup plan to overturn his 2022 election defeat.

Bolsonaro did not refer directly to the allegations made by two armed forces commanders that he had summoned them to

discuss a possible coup d'etat to to prevent President Lula de Silva from returning to

power.

Ernesto, there's a lot of ambiguous language here, so I ask you to unpack this.

The allegation is that

the two armed forces commanders have accused President Bolsonaro of planning a coup is that correct?
