by WWE.

Alright so let's kick things off by talking about Velveteen Dream who we spoke about recently

of course being backstage at the Raw tapings.

He has now been released by WWE this news broke last night at PWInsiders and Mike Johnson

came through, no word on why, he was released from WWE of course there were cuts earlier

in the week, eight people let go associated with NXT due to budget cuts, no word on whether

or not that can be attributed to Dream as well but he's gone from the company and fightful

select have come through with a report, just offering some extra context on the matter.

So as we all know, Dream hadn't been on WWE television since wrestling Adam Cole on,

I think it was December 28th, December is the key point here, wrestling Adam Cole on NXT,

no sign of him at any shows on camera and behind the scenes as well, fightful notes that

he hadn't necessarily been at a lot of NXT tapings recently, he had, however, been at

some open ring sessions inside WWE and this had led to concern is the word that was used

in the report here that he was being kind of built up for some kind of coaching position

that within the company is noted that Canyon Seaman, who handles these kinds of things,

talent development director, he sent out the email informing people about 4.45pm that

Dream had been cut and now he's gone, he has a 30 day non-compete clause with WWE meaning

that theoretically he is free to sign wherever he wants from the 19th of June.
