And this is a Cruise Radio news brief, we'll call it, because the show was released last night.

And while the show was being released, there was some news that came out of the Carnival Cruise Line

camp about some cancellations and some itinerary changes for Carnival fascination.

Of course, all due to Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria over the past 40 days or so.

So I'm sailing on Carnival Fascination this week, and I'm joined by Carnival's brand ambassador and senior cruise director, John Held.

Now, John, as we just said, so many changes over the past few weeks.

Yes, you're right. There has been a lot of changes. This has been a very, very challenging

hurricane season, not just challenging for the cruise industry, but of course more so for the poor

people who've had the hurricanes devastate their homes, their businesses, and yeah, we've had to change a lot

of ships around.

I can actually just confirm some news about the carnival fascination.

Up until just a couple of days ago, we'd sent a team to Sam Juan who had looked at the infrastructure

of the pier in the surrounding area for us to be able to go back as a home port for the carnival fascination.

And we were all set to go.

And then in the last 48 hours, we were approached by FEMA.

Now, the Federal Emergency Management Association, I hope I'm getting that right.

FEMA, of course, are the people who, in times of pure devastation,

as we see with Irma and Maria, are the first to go and to help the people in the United States.
