And we're going to start off with Sammy Zane and the revelation that he pitched to defron

Drew McIntyre for the World Championship at Royal Rumble.

If you recall, I mean, you should be able to recall it was seven days ago.

But Drew, of course, defeated Sammy to retain his world title at Royal Rumble.

This was despite a few weeks of Sammy kind of building towards it.

He's been doing it kind of in promos for ages at this stage, but really intensified in the weeks building up to it.

And it's now been revealed via the Wrestling Observer Radio, no newsletter here, that Sammy actually pitched to win this match.

Sammy Zane was pushing to win the WW Championship

against Drew McIntyre at the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.

There was an internal discussion about who should win

right until the day of the show.

But Triple H ultimately decided that Sami should lose.
