I hope you're well, I hope you good. And they belated, belated, happy new year to you all. Right, let's get straight to it. And to the, I guess, somewhat surprising news that Tomaso Champa may be on his way out of WWE. Now, this comes from Body Slam Plus, who reports that Champa's existing WWE deal is up soon and that he's planning to leave

WWE once that contract finishes.

Now, this report adds that it's unclear whether Champa has decided against signing the new

deal so that he can explore options elsewhere or whether it's maybe a case of him basically

wanting to step away from the ring for a while.

Take a break without having, you know, being committed to a new contract. Now, Tomaso Champa last wrestled on the 19th of December edition of Smackdown. That's where he and Johnny Gargano lost to Ilya Dragonoff and Carmelo Hayes. And while Johnny was in action on the most recent Smackdown, as in this past Friday, where he lost to Carmelo Hayes, there was no Tomato Ch Champa to be seen. Johnny being accompanied to the ring by his wife, Candice Luray. I mean, if this is, you know, if this really is it for Tamaso Champa, it's one of the great missed opportunities of the past few years, at least in WWE. I mean, yes, he's had some success on the main roster, DIY being a two-time WWE tag team

champion.

But the Tomasso Champa of NXT, that was something truly special, man, especially after

that brilliant heel turn on Johnny Gargano, the initial split of DIY.

But there's a baby face or a heel.

Champa as a singles acting NXT was no pun intended.

Absolute gold. Obsessed over Goldie.

Had two runs with Goldie.

Shodi was a hell of a promo,

obviously a hell of an in-ring talent.

And someone who, yeah, sure,

had slim chances of success

under the reign of Vincent McMahon on the main roster,
