Hello and welcome to what culture wrestling. The solo Sunday news, myself, Andrew Ballard. I hope you've got to help you well.

And I hope your weekend is going as well as possible. Up the off to St. Andrew's Reds.

And a quick birthday shout out to my good pal, Tony, the Italian Stallion, who I believe is rocking quite the hangover today.

Right, wrestling, and let's start with the TNA president getting booed at a TNA event by T&A fans.

0:34.3

Yes, last night's Rebellion saw Carlos Silver, the T&A president, booed by his own fans on the countdown pre-show. Of course, this comes in the aftermath of TNA, pulling several talent from big-name matches this past week. For example, Leon Slater was due to face AEW's ricochet this weekend for WrestleMania, a match that lots of fans were looking forward to. Leon, one of the hottest young wrestlers, well, young stars on the rise in the business, one of the most innovative high flies in the game right now against a ricochet, I mean a revolutionary high flyer. Whether you love my hate him these days, there is no question in what a game changer ricochet was and is for that style of wrestling. Now that match was signed off by old parties, approved by all parties, advertised,

tickets sold only for T&A this week to pull Leon Slater from the match.

Likewise, Moose has been pulled from a Maple Leaf Pro appearance this weekend as well.

Well, this coming weekend is in next weekend, basically.

And a much-hyped MJF versus Nick Nemouth match for Creator Pro on May the 1st. That has also been cancelled. Though MJF is still on the card, I believe it's an open challenge he's doing while Nick Nemeth will face Bear Bronson is there, the fellow TNA talent. The reason for all of this has been put down to partner conflicts. Many believe in this could be tied to WWE. I mean, they are a partner after all, or who knows, maybe it's AMC or another partner. You make your mind up on that one. All of this has been met with a largely negative response from fans and wrestlers alike. MJF publicly going after TNA and Carla Silver. Will Osprey recently did an interview calling TNA Cowards. And even Nick Nemeth has talked about how he tried to push back on this before,

just kind of emitting defeat. And it's like, well, you know, I'm going to do what the company wants him to do. And so that sentiment has now followed through to TNA's own show. Yes, with the company's own fans booing their president. And the thing is, if you've watched TNA for the past, what, year or more, I'd say, Carlos Silver is pretty much on every episode of Impad, every pay-per-view, every, everything. The point being, if this is more than just a one-off reaction, if this becomes a trend, at least for a little while, of T&A fan booing Carlos Silver, like, this could be a, you know, a bit of a problem, given how much of a presence Carlos has on TV. I mean, I got to interview Carlos last year, lovely guy. We had a good chat during the interview and then before and after the interview as well. Just seemed like a really good dude. And I am always, always rooted for TNA. But let's say, Carlos isn't exactly camera shy. Of course, there is the benefit of most impact episodes being taped, so stuff like this can

always be fixed in the edit. But for live shows, live events, might get a little bit awkward

2:55.4

if this becomes a thing. And speaking of, booze, man, is original a grand A Americano hated

in AAA? And now we finally got some movement in the much-speculated mask versus mask match between

3:06.9

the two Americanos.

3:08.0

Now at last night's AAA show, the original Le Grand A Americano defeated Octagon Jr., actually

3:13.4

unmasking Octagon Jr. along the way as well.

3:15.9

But it is the post-match that's even more newsworthy here as original El Grande Americano

ended up attacking Alexis Oroho, a blind comedian also known as Ohitos de Hue Huevo. Apologies about my pronunciation there. That has been absolutely butchered. But yeah, so Grande attacked him, pulled him over the ringside barrier, put the ankle lock on him. And then had a confrontation with Andrea Bazat, who had been interviewing the comedian. In fact, Andrea slapped El Grande to try and get him to break the ankle lock.

3:41.6

And El Grande then just kind of like stalked her menacingly around ringside and getting

3:45.6

mega heat from the crowd.
