Erica Kirk, the grieving widow of political activist Charlie Kirk, whom President Trump just posthumously bestowed the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Trump remembered Charlie Kirk as a quote, amazing person and an American hero.

He was, of course, as you all recall, assassinated

just last month at an event at Utah Valley University.

Senator, obviously, a lot of supporters of Charlie Kirk,

very moved by the remarks not only of the president,

but perhaps most importantly, Erica Kirk, his widow. Tell us why you think it's so important

for Charlie Kirk to be given such a high honor posthumously. Yeah, well, Jake, so I think

of this, it's a tough day, it's a bittersweet day.

It's a day we celebrate Charlie's life, but we're still mourning his death at the same time.

But because of Charlie Kirk, there are thousands, maybe millions of families that went back to church or to a synagogue for the first time in years, that Americans are embracing the values that so many of us were raised
