Hello, and welcome to What Culture Wrestling, Shemai, the Solo Sunday News, myself, Andrew Pollard. I hope you good, I hope you well, I hope your weekend is going as well as possible. It's been a fairly mild weekend for myself, what with no Wrexham game, Wales played on Thursday, though I did get to check out the conjuring last right yesterday. So if you like your horror, be sure to check out the review for that over at What Culture Horror. they should be posting on Monday morning. Anyways, it's Sunday. So that means I've got my wrestling hat on, not my horror one. Though in our first story, it could be quite the horror story for AEW if WW gets their way. Now, of course, we have WW wrestle-palooza on the way for September 20th. That would be the same day of AEW

All-Out, though, was it? For All-Out, that was airing on its own that day until

WWE decided that, hmm, yeah, I think we want to put on a major event to go directly head-to-head

with All-Out, hence, Russell, the first PLE to take place on ESPN, a massive event for

WWE, both in terms of an event as in a premium live event, but also an event as in an event,

a huge moment in time, a giant change in WWE, pairing it up against, sorry, pairing it with

the biggest sports network in the world. And with Russell-pal-loser, WWE, throwing a whole bunch of major matches at the wall, a little like that first roar on Netflix, so just doing all they can to make it a big deal, a big attraction. There's the return to the ring of AJ Lee with AJ and C and Punk against Seth Rawlins. There's what's likely to be the final match between John Cena and Brock Lesner. We're probably getting the reunion of the Uso's by all accounts, likely against Brom Breaker and Bronson Reed, the Bram Brons. And I can't imagine we don't get the W.W.E. Champion, Cody Rhodes on the show in some form, especially given how the other men's world title, as in Seth Rollins is one, won be on the line with Seth being in that mixed tag. So maybe,

I know,

maybe Cody versus Drew McIntyre then. And that's without mentioning Stephanie Ducker versus EO Sky for the vacant women's world title, a match that could, well, steal the entire show. Two of the best in the world. We've already shown some great chemistry in their brief in-ring interactions so far. And in fact, I would go to say, for me, EO is the best wrestler in the world right now,

male or female, especially with Will Ospre on the sidelines and Gunther on hiatus. Yeah, man. EO gets the nod from me. Anyway, the wider point I'm getting at here is that WE and its counter-programming of AEW EW choosing to put Russell Palooza directly up against All Out, in the hope of

drawing away some of the AEW audience, in the hope of dominating the new cycle for

that weekend, in the lead-in to that weekend, in the fallout from that weekend.

Yeah, it's all about this counter-programming.

Of course, AW has since changed the start time for All-Out so that it doesn't go head-to-head

with WWE.

This sounds like these aggressive counter-program programming measures aren't stopping anytime soon, and I'd like you to only intensify.
