On today's wrestling news, we've got potential disaster for WWE as Dominic Mysterio suffers an injury.

We've got an update on a former AW world champion who's been missing for a year.

as Dominic Mysterio is reported to have suffered an injury this weekend working for AAA

on their Gera de Teton's show in Guadalajara. He was teaming as one of AAA's biggest stars this year

with El Grande Americano to take on his deadbeat dad, Ray Mysterio and Ray Phoenix. This was supposed

to be you might have seen the reunion of the Lucha brothers, but Penter suffered an injury

leading to Ray Mysterio taking a place and the two baby faces working together to ultimately

defeat Dominic Mysterio and El Grande and the two baby faces working together to ultimately defeat Dominic

Mysterio and El Grande Americano. But the biggest story coming out of this one, other than defeat

for the current mega champion by his deadbeat dad, was that Dominic may have suffered a separated shoulder.

This is per Brian Alvarez, who reported that Dom injured his shoulder, taking the DDT from Ray near the end of the main event.

Based on how we landed, my presumption is that it's likely a silver separation,

which depending on the severity, could be a short-term injury or, in a worst-case scenario, surgery.

We won't know anything until he gets evaluated. He could barely use the arm at all. Yes, for those that haven't seen the match, Dominic does take a DDT lay on from Ray Mysterio. This is after Penner has copped onto the El Grande-Americano. Gimmick mask-switched deal. Revers that situation around. Resulted in a win for the baby faces. Interestingly, El Grande-Americano shake the hand of Raymistero after the fact,

but Dominic had already stormed to the back. You can see online his disgusted reaction to his

on-screen ally, El Grande-Airicano, shaking hands with his deadbeat dad. What you couldn't see was

obviously any particular range of movement in Dominic's arm or shoulder. We obviously await a bit more

information from that.

But yeah, truly what a disaster this could be for not just AAA, but WWE as well.
