On today's wrestling news, I've got all the backstage reactions to CM Punk possibly

go into WWE. A massive crown jewel matches. Not happening. The undertaker gets called

up to NXT. And an NXT star has now been quietly

promoted to the main roster. Are you ready? Are you ready for the news time? My name is

Phil James and I'm joined by Gareth Morgan to talk all things wrestling news. But first

up, CM Punk, you might have heard of him. He's been in the news a lot. And he still

is in the news a lot. Obviously so. You may have seen that he's possibly going back

to WWE. This came from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Yesterday he said

that sources close to Punk said that he and WWE are in talks and his intention is to

return to the company exciting times. Now we've got a lot of follow-up from this. So

I've got a lot to get through. So I'll try and go through as best as I can.

As a Nick Howesman for House of Wrestling also reported that WWE source has said that

they feel it's a safe bet that Punk will be at Survivor Series in Chicago next month.

And I'll quite post the next. Have a huge thing from this.

Something that sources close to CM Punk and WWE higher ups believe that Punk would sign

with WWE and that one source stating that they believe the return was actively being

worked on. Now there is a lot more issues around and obviously because CM Punk of course

he comes with a lot of issues. His punk salary could be one where he was on a very high

salary in a WWE and was making above what many of the top WWE stars are paid in WWE

obviously and that his leverage for making a deal like this has been diminished slightly

since you know the whole wall out and being fired thing kind of takes away a little bit

of your negotiation powers over something like this. He also has prior heat within the company
