Hello there my very good friends on today's wrestling news. We're gonna tell you about

a backstage freak out during the Survivor Series main event.

Fans hijacked Survivor Series with AEW Jants.

Despite all the teasing in the world, the rock was not a Survivor Series and we've got

the backstage reaction and the SmackDown roster are going to appear on Raw tonight because

of AEG stuff. I'm at a well born, I haven't been to bed yet and I'm still not 100% sure

that AEG stuff happened and this is the news.

It was indeed a fever dream but we got some backstage notes first of all from the main

event of the show which turned out to be Biggie, WWE Champion Biggie versus Roman Reigns

for brand supremacy which by that point was messed up. Really wasn't it because Raw

was everything apart from the pre-show which was a DQ and then you got to this point but

long story short, Roman Reigns won, SmackDown saved a little bit of face, Roman ended

up picking Biggie after a spear, it was a spear. Behind the scenes however, another story

was playing out here, we got a report from PWInsiders Mike Johnson describing a minor freak

out backstage during the main event, people growing anxious, people going, oh no what's

going to happen here because they were worried about timing issues. According to this, the

paper review was supposed to go off the air no later than the 1135 Eastern time but

before they still had the main event to go at one point and they were like, oh no, how

are we going to fit this in? Apparently some of them were particularly confusing to these

people, they were wondering why the hell the entrances for the men's elimination match

in particular got so long, which I think is a fair point. I saw a tweet, I think it was

Brian Avarez noting that some of the 79 minutes of the show were entrances and video packages

...
