On today's show, we'll talk about who the Jets kicker may be in 2026 with Nick Folk on his way to Atlanta.

We'll talk about whether the Jets are being strategic in their free agent signings and maybe saving,

finding a pass rusher until the NFL draft, but we'll begin by talking about what the Jets

have done and what is what is left to do.

Our first question from Taylor, John, the Patriots over the last few days have acquired

AVT and Romeo Dobbs. We've acquired some random defensive players and away past his prime

Gino. Is there anything you can say to assure us that the team is not once again showing

that its entire approach to team building is hopelessly conservative and outdated. I think what I would say is that we're a couple of days

into the offseason. So we need to see the full picture develop before we make any definitive

statements. I think that it's very easy to read too much into the first

couple of days of the offseason. You have to remember that this is going to be a long haul.

And over the next couple of days and weeks, we'll see the Jets continue to fill in their roster.

I mean, all the reports before the start of free agency indicated that they were not going to be big players in the early stages.

And in what was somewhat surprising, the Jets did make a lot of early signings, but they did not sign like the market resetting contracts.

You did not see the types of deals that Mike Tannenbaum gave out or Mike McCagnan gave out.
