Well, the economy has hit Hollywood hard.

Walt Disney Studios reported a drop in quarterly operating income of 97%. Whoa.

And meanwhile, Fox Studios look solid, but the rest of News Corp doesn't look as solid. They took a hit with operating income plunging 47% from a year ago.

What's interesting is how differently the heads of these companies have reacted to the news.

Yes, Bob Iger, who collected a huge payday, turned around and slammed his own studio, saying it is not the marketplace, it's our slate.
