It is Friday, March 20th here at the Five Things You Need to know to start your day.

Number one, the cost of war. Funerals will be held this weekend in Iowa for two of the 13 U.S. service members who died in the war with Iran.

People lined the streets in Des Moines as the remains of Major Jeffrey O'Brien

and Sergeant Declan Cody were brought home yesterday. Both the President and Defense Secretary

have said that that cost, that human cost of this war, will likely rise still. In addition

to that, President Trump may soon ask Congress for new money to fund the cost

of this war effort as well, possibly as much as $200 billion.

Thursday, he called it a small price to pay.

Right now, that message does not seem to be winning over even Republicans in Congress,

members of his own party saying they need a lot more detail first.
