Summary
Oh the irony of this headline on Martin Luther King Jr Day. The Pentagon has reportedly readied 1500 cold weather special troops to deploy to the streets of Minneapolis to assist the already 3 thousand immigration officers on the ground. Meantime, Governor Tim Walz has said he has the Minnesota National Guard on standby to also go in and protect the streets, potentially setting up a disturbing scenario of federal troops and state troops with very different agendas.
