The FBI has identified the suspect in the New Orleans attack that killed at least 15 people

and injured dozens. They say 42-year-old Texas man and army veteran Shamsaddin Jabbar

rammed a pickup truck into a crowd on Bourbon Street early on New Year's Day,

and it's being investigated as an act of terrorism. This witness spoke to WDSU.

There were just bodies and the screams. You cannot think about, you know, unhear that.

It was chaos and very, very scary.

Authorities say Jabbar was killed after a firefight with officers.

According to officials, he had an ISIS flag in the vehicle at the time of the attack

and had earlier made a series of videos in which he said he had joined the terror group.

The FBI is investigating whether he acted alone.

We are aggressively running down every lead, including those of his known associates.

The University of Georgia and the University of Notre Dame were set to play in the Sugar

Bowl in New Orleans on Wednesday night, but the game was postponed in the wake of the attack,

and will kick off today at 4 p.m. Eastern time. Authorities believe fireworks, gas tanks and camping

fuel were used to detonate a Tesla cyber truck outside a Trump hotel in Las Vegas yesterday.
