Summary

A lot happened this week! Marques, Andrew, and David sit down to talk about everything from Ford using Tesla chargers to Apple's rumored headset that might be announced next week at WWDC. They also discuss the new Motorola Razr Plus phone and then answer a bunch of questions from Twitter before wrapping it all up with trivia. It's a long one but hopefully a fun one too! What is up, people of the internet. Welcome back to another episode of the waveform podcast.

0:10.8

We're your host, Amarquez. I'm Andrew. And I'm David. And we are back to you regularly

0:15.0

scheduled programming. Of course, we're still going to have more guest episodes. But last

0:18.4

week, we talked to Simone Yetch. It was super fun. Check it out if you haven't seen it already.

0:22.8

This week, we've got a lot to talk about. We've got the new Moto Razor, which I think is really

0:27.2

interesting to Razor Plus actually. A new AI image generating camera. I haven't seen this,

0:33.9

but I'm very curious. Also, WWDC is around the corner. By the time you listen to this,

0:38.8

it might be happening already. But we also are going to wrap it up with Q&A. So we got a lot

0:42.0

to get to, I think that first though, we should start with Ford. Ford made some moves.

0:48.4

They did. Actually, just one move. Yeah, they make one move. A couple of moves. Yeah, one move

0:54.7

has a couple moves inside of the singular move. They collabed. They collabed basically.

1:00.4

Ford did a collab is like a multi-movement movement. Sure. A compound movement.

1:04.7

Compound. There we go. A compound movement. So Tesla and Ford have collaborated. Basically,

1:09.6

what's happening is Ford has realized that Tesla superchargers are really, really good.

1:15.6

And instead of contributing to a public network or building their own network, what they're doing

1:20.5

is making their cars able to charge on as many Tesla superchargers as possible via several

1:27.0

movements. One of those movements is by enabling them in Ford Pass. So you get an adapter,

1:33.8

theoretically, I believe. And in Ford Pass, you'll be able to pull up to any number of the enabled,

1:39.2

I think, thousands of superchargers when this starts to go live and plug in your Ford EV

1:44.3

at a Tesla supercharger. The other move, which I think is actually way more interesting,

1:50.3

is starting in 2025, all of Ford's new shipping EVs will have the NACS connector. For those who

1:58.9

don't know, that's the North American charging standard, I believe it's called, but that's the
