Hey, friends. Just drop in in here on a Tuesday for a little mini conversation for my mini BFFs so kids and parents and aunts and uncles and grandparents and grownups who love kids.

I'm really happy to be with you all for a couple of minutes today to share with you a little story that I'm very, very excited about.

Here's the thing. I have been keeping kind of a big secret like a huge secret and it's been really hard so many times I wanted to like yell from the rooftops mini BFFs I have some big news.

But I had to hold all this excitement deep inside my body because I didn't want to spoil the fun but now I can finally share the news.

I have a new kids book coming out a brand new book just for my mini BFFs. It is called so happy to know you and it will arrive in stores or at your front door on like September 19 like less than a month away.

I know I told you I think keeping a secret but now we can tell mini BFFs you know that I love writing stories for you.

This book is so special because I want you to know the very best thing about you is you.

So what is inside the book? Great question. There are a ton of very fun pictures of Little Annie. That's me and all of her friends.

We go camping and play soccer and ride bikes and stand on top of the world and fly in hot air balloons and maybe I even write a zebra. Yes I do.

We get to go through the whole alphabet together in this book learning lots and lots of words that can describe you.

Like how you might be athletic or brave, creative or daring or lively, magical, outstanding or sweet.

For real, there is a word. Well, probably a lot of words that describes each of you.

The best part about this book is we spend the whole entire book talking about all the ways that I'm so happy to know you.

My hope is that when y'all read so happy to know you, it'll help you see all the ways that you are you.

And whether you're a grown up or a kid, that really, really matters that God made you on purpose and for a purpose.

As we did with what sounds fun to you, we have tried to do with so happy to know you as well.

Because I taught elementary school and public schools, I want to write books for kids that can sit in any of your classrooms and be in any room with a kid that needs to hear that they matter.

And that is true of so happy to know you. It's a great book to put on a classroom shelf to remind kids that they were made on purpose.
