I'm Vinipolitan. The subject of my investigation is the tragic murder of Keith Canero and his entire family, wiped out before their

sprawling mansion was then set on fire. And prosecutors say it was Keith's own brother who did it.

Here's the story.

In the early morning darkness of November 20th, 2018, a wealthy New Jersey mansion stood quietly in horse country cult's neck. Until it erupted in flames and horror.

Inside were the charred bodies of Keith Canero, his wife Jennifer, and their two

young children found dead after the fire consumed their home. Authorities say Keith was shot

outside the house, his wife shot and stabbed, and their children brutally stabbed all before any flames

touched wood prosecutors say hours earlier Keith's brother Paul Canero allegedly set

fire to his own home in a nearby town a rushed blaze prosecutors argue was a ruse to mask the real atrocity.

Today, Paul Canero sits jailed facing first-degree murder, aggravated arson, and weapons charges,

while a peaceful community struggles to grasp how greed and betrayal

allegedly extinguished a whole family a whole family god just gone yeah he owned a mansion. Yes, he was, you know, wealthy and the family was

but the whole family is just gone. Mom, dad, and two kids. Let's bring in Court TV Field

To me this is really a story about family. You know, I'm from New Jersey also. This takes place in New Jersey.

And I know family is big everywhere, but I can relate to this one because I know about those families in New Jersey and what things are like.
