in all that's going on around the world? How would you respond?

Well, we are starting a new series today called God's story, and this is episode number one in the

series, our introduction. We're going to be looking at the book of Acts chapter 17. So get out your

Okay, before we dig in to our new series on God's story at Acts chapter 17, I want to invite you to pray with me.

Lord, as we begin this new series, we do want to understand what you are doing in history.

Over these next episodes, we want to be able to walk through it and see for

ourselves very clearly from the Bible what you're doing. So guide us in understanding your heart

and your mind. We ask in Jesus' name. Amen. Okay, friends, if you have your Bibles, grab Acts

Chapter 17 real quickly. And what we're going to look at here is this situation where

the Apostle Paul is in Greece. He's actually in Athens, the city of Athens, and he's noticing

all of the different statues and temples and various tributes to gods that are around the city.

And he's in that area, this area called the aeroopagus,

which is where the Greek philosophers and such would come to discuss various concepts and ideas.

And it says in verse 22, chapter 17 of Acts, so Paul standing in the midst of the aureopagus, said,

men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious.
