Tonight we're going to be covering some new information, and perhaps not as new as some are claiming,

but there has been the judge gave the gag order on the quadruple murders of Ethan Chapin, Zana Kurnodl, and Kaylee Consolves, and Madison Mogan.

And that means there's not supposed to be any information going out from the prosecution and the defense.

Then I'm supposed to talk about the case.

However,

there has been things called leaks. And I always hated leaks when I was on the police department

because what that is is either people from our department, which was the NYPD when I was on,

or people from the prosecution, people that have knowledge of the case, leaking things to the press.

And the press, I include the broadcast media also.

That certainly does not help the case.

And it hurts the case.

And clearly someone is leaking information to News Nation and to Ashley Banfield.

And, you know, one of the things I would ask,

and Ashley Banfield has no responsibility to tell us, she has freedom of the press to tell us who her sources are. But how do we know as the public and people that are reporting on the reporters,

how do we know that this information is accurate?

How do we know, like, we try to just use information that is vetted and is verified by the police or the prosecutor?
