Now, Tom, you told me to introduce you as anything but a congressman, a former congressman.

You didn't like it when you were a congressman.

Some folks may remember the circumstances of your departure from Congress.

Why don't you just tell us a little bit about how you're doing and what you've been

up to?

Yeah.

I sort of had to make a decision about what was important in my life and the most important

thing in my life at that point was my life.

I had 20-some odd years of self-medicating with alcohol.

I think two to four nights a week probably not buzzed, but we were step above.

And so I think May 23rd of 18 was the last time I took a drink, May 27th.

I'd been accused of ethics and violations, which was subsequently clear to.
