But before I go on, I do want to address an issue that has been such a painful aspect of the following two weeks. And that's the images of

children whose rib cages you can clearly see because they're starving in a famine in Gaza. And I say

this with no uncertain shame in the fact that our tax dollars are funding it. And I also raise

this because these are preventable things that have everything

to do with the core of the ideals that we talk about on the show every single week. This didn't

just happen yesterday. Starvation doesn't happen overnight. This has been 660-some days that this

has been in the making. 94% of Gaza's health infrastructure has been bombed to

smithereens. That alongside every other part of infrastructure, whether it's education

infrastructure or housing infrastructure or water infrastructure. And that leaves everyday

Gazans innocent people having to go and get their food at one of four distribution centers, ever since the usual

systems of food aid have either been destroyed or rendered incapacitated. And we're watching as

people literally lining up for their food are getting shot. That means that thousands of kids

are starving. We've already seen 16 deaths to starvation in counting. And here's the

worst part of all of it. When a child is starving, you can't just give them food and bring them back to

life. You also have to nurse them through that refeating. There's this terrible disease called
