Summary

Two ducks showed up in Amy's backyard and she thinks it's a sign. Kat isn't so sure about it though...she thinks Amy needs to call animal control. Amy tries to convince her by sharing the meaning of seeing ducks, as it totally matches her life right now:

"Two ducks are also generally seen as symbols of new beginnings or change. This is because they have the ability to adapt to new environments easily and quickly. They are also known for being able to find food and shelter in even the harshest conditions. As such, they can be seen as a reminder that no matter what challenges we face in life, we always have the potential to overcome them."

The two in Amy's yard are clearly in love and going to have ducklings....similar to Kat & Big P!!

Obviously the quotes (yes, multiple) for this episode are duck related, like this one: "Be like a duck. Calm on the surface, but always paddling like the dickens underneath." - Michael Caine

Amy even shares a handful of duck jokes. This is our fav: Why did the duck go to the chiropractor? To get his back quacked.

A listener named Sarah emailed in to share that she's so thankful that she learned about Mel Robbins by listening to the 5th Thing! Mel posted this quote the other day and we love it: "Enough with the overthinking. Nobody gives a crap. Do it." Amy & Kat go over a few recent posts from Mel including one about ADHD & and one about knowing that you need to do something, but being too scared to do it!

Thanks & Have The Day You Need To Have!!!
