The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says there will be a strong, swift and precise

response to two shootings in East Jerusalem. A Palestinian gunman killed seven people near a

synagogue hours before a 13 year old boy wounded a father and son. The child's aspect was himself

shot and is in hospital. In recent weeks, dozens of Palestinians have been killed during Israeli

raids in villages and refugee camps. A correspondent in Jerusalem Yolain Nell reports on an

upsurge of violence not seen for many years. Gunshots again in Jerusalem. This time in

Silwan, a tense neighborhood just below the walled old city where Jewish settlers live next to

Palestinians. An Israeli father and son were injured shot by a 13 year old. Local media say the

suspect was close to another boy who just died after being shot earlier in the week by Israeli police.
