Well, hello, my friends, and welcome to today's Kyle Serafin Show. It is Friday. It is January

the 9th. And thanks for being with me. That's Friday makes it a friendly Friday, which means

we're going to have Steve Friend of the American Radicals podcast join us in a few moments.

Let me just say something. Every single time Steve comes on to talk about something interesting, we have tech issues that come out of nowhere. I'm sitting here. I'm listening to Steve. We're getting prepped. And then all of a sudden he just goes, bloop, it just disappears. And on my end, I've got kind of an interface program on the side on this screen over here. Gone. Just gone. And he's still talking. He don't even know.

And then he pops back up mid-sentence.

And I was like, oh, that was interesting. Wonder what's going on. Did you know? I watched his connection go completely to, you know, it goes like red, green, yellow, disappears. So anyway, if we experience text shenanigans, don't worry. Things will continue. The message, the signal will still get out.

I think I need to do like a Serenity slash Firefly intro opening because I do feel like the signal's going to get out.

What are we talking today?

Little information coming from the New York Times that is about the Maduro situation, about the grab, the raid that went and got him.

Last night we kind of talked about it on the call-in show, and there were some pretty cool things about it. I can see two things at once. It can be really neat that our military is able to project force and power into a place. I know those guys are awesome. And so knowing that they go do that is one thing. And this story, actually, I think it's kind of a hit piece on the Trump administration. It actually falls short for me. What it says is that nightstockers are epic. They are the best of what they do. But it also does kind of give us a little bit more insight that there is the potential for human casualty, that there are human costs when it comes to doing things like, you know, sending your military anywhere. Anytime you go downrange, it can get really scary and dangerous and people get hurt.

Another thing, we're going to just be fixated on this Minneapolis situation.

I think there is a war.

And this is going to be my broad and maybe my comprehensive discussion on this.

There is a war that is happening both in words and there's a possibility that it breaks into something even more physical, kinetic.

And the war of words is terrorists and who gets to call who terrorists? I think this is a bad idea for the Trump administration because terrorism is a thing. We know what it looks like.

What it doesn't look like is a suburban mom who's an idiot who decides to do something

dangerous and dumb and then it ends up orphaning her child.

That's not a terrorist to me.
