What a joy it was to preach this series of messages at Faith Baptist Church on the book of

Nehemiah.

I've entitled this series When God Interrupts Your Life, and I hope it's a great encouragement

to you and helps you to be a better servant of Jesus. God bless you,

my friends. Nehemiah chapter number 13 please this morning. We've arrived at the very last chapter

in the book of Nehemiah. Those who are joining us or visiting with us this morning, we want to thank you for coming.

We've been preaching a series of messages through the Old Testament book of Nehemiah.

What a great book it is.

And we've entitled this series, when God interrupts your life.

Because that's what God did.

God interrupted the life of this man,

Nehemiah, to do something that really humanly speaking he wasn't equipped to do. He was a cup

bearer. And yet God called him to be a building, a building supervisor. And then a governor

of a country for 12 years and what a great job

Nehemiah did embracing the call of God answering the call of God being used of God and always

understand this principle that where God guides you he provides for you And God does not call the equipped. He equips the called.

And our job is to hear the voice of God and do what God tells us to do, understanding that where God leads, God feeds.

And we find that in the book of Nehemiah in such a poignant way. And here we are now in Nehemiah chapter number 13.

Last week we saw the great dedication of the wall.

Remember, Nehemiah had overseen that project,
