So, There's a very specific rhythm to the fall for me and it happens every year and it's both subtle but I've also

0:25.5

come to notice it. I'll notice that some green leaves start to turn a little bit

0:30.5

yellow somewhere in late July or early August I know that sounds crazy but I think the

0:34.8

unhealthy trees maybe turn just a little bit earlier. Maybe they've been turning earlier because

0:39.1

every year we spend all summer covered in smoke from wildfires in Canada every year and so maybe

0:48.3

the trees are like oh well you know this we're getting less light maybe it's

0:51.6

time to change a little early I don't know what's going on there.

0:53.7

But you start to see a little bit of change. Late July, early August, and then you get one night

0:58.8

later on into August where it's like, oh, dang, I need a sweatshirt. There's a little bit of a crisp in the air.

1:03.2

And then you start seeing just the rhythm of kids going back to school and that sort of

1:07.3

weekly schedule happening. And then you get into somewhere in early or mid-October,

1:12.2

the aspen leaves have all changed, they're bright and

1:15.2

vibrant and you go out one night, you know like, dang sweatshirt's not getting it done anymore.

1:18.9

I need my real coat, my breath is freezing, or maybe there's a little bit of steam rolling off of the pavement,

1:26.2

and a bunch of the leaves are gone, and so the trees are starting to look a little, they're down to

1:29.9

their skeletons, you know, and you just feel it.

1:32.2

This is spookyooky it's Halloween

1:33.4

season that's the rhythm we're in and then after that it gets a little colder yet

1:36.7

and everything where I live browns out everything gets harvested and that tells a story about hey we are now into

1:45.1

Thanksgiving season just boom boom boom one after the next but each of those things

1:49.7

is a celebration of something very different. You're talking about celebrating the kids and school and college

1:56.0

football and that sort of it's time to go learn time of year. That's what September's about. You're talking
