So, One of my favorite early Bible discoveries that I had for myself as a young man reading through

the Bible. I was a guy who came to talk to a group I was at, he's like, you know what, you young people

should be reading the Bible. And I was like, what? I mean, I like the Bible. People read it to me. I don't think like I have to read it.

And dude made a really good point. It's like you should read it now because you'll never read it as a kid again.

If you wait to read it till later, then you will only ever have read the

Bible through the eyes of an adult and you will never read it through the eyes of a

child. And the Bible says there's something really special about that built-in perspective of a child.

Jesus said there was something special about it.

You should read it while you're young and then you should read it again when you're not young and then you should read it when you're old

because it's gonna be different every time I was like dang that makes sense I'm reading this

thing so I got my Bible and it's hang on a second wait there don't go

anywhere don't leave I'm coming back.

Just hang on a second, I'm getting a thing that you're not even going to be able to see, but you're

going to be able to hear it.

And so I got this Bible right here, this one that my dad gave me, I still have it. I got scribbles in it from when I was a tiny

kid. I drew pictures in here. I mean, I wrote things in here. Literally in the 1980s, my great

grandma died. The first thing I wrote in this Bible was the date she died and that is some rotten kid handwriting

But I meant well and how about that? I wrote down all the birth dates of my parents and I wrote down in my

grown-up handwriting I wrote down the date that my kid brother died.

Huh.

Well, that's something.
